# Chartboost - How do I link my account?

# Overview

To authenticate with Chartboost, you will need:

1. **Client ID** - A unique identifier for your Chartboost API client.
2. **Client Secret** - A secret key used alongside your Client ID to obtain access tokens.

This guide will walk you through obtaining your API credentials from the Chartboost dashboard.

### Prerequisites

* An active Chartboost account with API access enabled.

### Step 1: Obtain your API credentials

1. Log in to your [Chartboost](https://dashboard.chartboost.com) account.
2. Click your user icon in the top-right corner and select **Company info & settings**.
3. Select **Access Management** from the left navigation.
4. Click **Refresh API v5 Credentials** to reveal your **Client ID** and **Client Secret**.

<Note>The Client Secret is shown only once, right after you refresh the credentials. Copy it before leaving the page.</Note>

### Step 2: Enter credentials in the Connect UI

Once you have your **Client ID** and **Client Secret**:

1. Open the form where you need to authenticate with Chartboost.
2. Enter your **Client ID** and **Client Secret** in their respective fields.
3. Submit the form, and you should be successfully authenticated.

You are now connected to Chartboost.
